Temporary Executive Assistant (m/f/d)
To assist in monitoring news on Hong Kong and the eight countries under the office's purview, conducting research and preparing the daily central and eastern European press review, daily reports, and providing inputs to other ad hoc reports; To assist in drafting press releases, speeches, newsletter articles, e-news, website content, publications in specialized media, promotional content for (online) events and similar for disseminating information about Hong Kong; To assist in English-German translation of press releases, news articles, speeches, web content, advertisements, and reports; To conduct research on newspapers/magazines/online news with a view to finding new contacts and to suggest suitable media for PR campaigns, to assist in the media subscription management; To assist in coordinating various PR projects, including media monitoring, with external service providers, agencies and local consultants in Poland and Hungary; To assist in arranging visit of senior officials to and from Hong Kong and in organizing commercial and public relation activities such as online events/webinars, film festivals, Chinese New Year receptions, business seminars and briefings. To assist in the handling of enquiries from the media and the public; To assist in planning, implementing and monitoring HKETO Berlin's social media activities via various channels and accounts; to create and post organic promotional content (with the Hootsuite tool) as well as targeted paid campaigns on the office's social media accounts (Facebook and LinkedIn), to compile social media monthly visual reports; To update the database of media and business contacts; and To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
A bachelor degree or equivalent. Experience: Preferably at least one year of experience in public relations / event management / event administration and accounting. Language: Excellent presentation and communication skills in English (business proficiency) and German (advanced level, i.e. CEFR C1), proficiency in other Central European languages would be an advantage. Others: Experience of living and/or doing business in Hong Kong would be an asset. Eligible to undertake employment in Germany without further arrangement of work visa.
